OUR RELOCATION is complete and your continued support is greatly appreciated as we plan for our future.
As you may be aware, we lost our land lease in the fall of 2007 and have had to downsize our operation. In January 2008, we relocated and thankfully, were able to take several of our older, less adoptable residents. As result of the more urban environment of our new location, we re-homed our more adoptable dog and cat residents, a true blessing. Seven Blessings is not over (as some of you may have heard or assumed) and as result of this untimely ‘loss of property’ occurrence, we feel that we are JUST BEGINNING as we are ever more convicted to our mission. Our new Board of Directors are now focused on our official Capital Campaign Fund .That focus will be toward raising the funds needed to purchase property, design and construct a NEW FACILITY. Until that facility is a reality, we will not be receiving any new residents. Many of our current residents are available for adoption as well.
WE HOPE YOU TOO ARE CONVICTED AND READY TO STAND FIRM WITH US BY CONTINUING TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT THROUGHOUT 2009 AND BEYOND.
THOUGH WE HAVE DOWNSIZED CONSIDERABLY, THERE ARE STILL 4 CATS AND 6 DOGS WHO ARE TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON SEVEN BLESSINGS FOR FOOD, SHELTER AND MEDICAL CARE. AS THE SOLE CAREGIVERS, HOLLY AND I ARE COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON YOUR GOOD HEART AND LOVE FOR ANIMALS TO SEE THEM THROUGH.

THE VISION
During my Associate Professor days @ O'More College of Design in Franklin, TN, I often used the analogy of a single 'point' placed on a piece of paper to that of one's first inkling of an idea, thought or vision. That analogy, illustrated below, is one that can best explain how our vision for Seven Blessings became reality.

In 2003 Holly and I had that inkling of an idea...we called it our vision. As we begin to give more thought to this vision, a more distinct thought process was forming in our minds, just as the 'point' when 'called upon' forms a more distinct shape.
In 2004, our vision became more defined as we completed our Business Plan and formed a corporate entity called
Seven Blessings, Inc.
In 2005, our vision had grown into a purposefull, but still somewhat visionary, walk the walk, and talk the talk type venture...just as that single line,when forced, had drawn upon itself and expanded into something with purpose and cause and conviction.
THE COURAGE
In 2006, our vision becomes clear and very demandi ng of itself. We floated out of the dream and with conviction, committment and passion, stepped into the reality and founded our current location in west Davidson County, TN. In October 2006, Seven Blessings become official with the 501c3 federal recognition for non-profit entities. Our Vision had become a reality, just as when connected to other lines, the plane becomes filled with enormous potential as it evolves into a sustinct, structured order.
THE FAITH 
All of that to say this...
To continue our vision we be need new location as we are month to month at our current location. We have projected a financial need of $600,000.00 as further described below.
We NEED benefactors to donate, funds to help purchase, professionals to help design and build...
PHASE 1
- The Location - $130,000.00 - a habitable 10+ acres, zoned agriculture that would have a living facility and usable out buildings (a barn, gargage, work shop). From this our vision, turned reality, would continue.
PHASE 2
This will be a state of the art, environmental friendly, multi-faceted facility to provide for the daily operational needs of our residents and those that care for them. Phase 1 will consist of 9,000 SF and will offer 2 resident pods(RP) that can house up to 60 residents. Each RP will also provide loft style housing for the RP Guardian. Subsequent phases will add 'Cat Haven' an 1,800 SF area that will be dedicated just to the feline, a Training/Behavior area and a Visitors Center, complete with a gift shop and donation center.
- Become a part of our Vision...Literally...When you contribute $10,000.00 toward our building fund, an area within the new facility will be 'christened' in your honor! And, you can pick the area to bear your namesake! CONTACT US for more information regarding this unique giving opportunity.
PHASE 3
The home environment will be the e mphasis for these unique resident abodes. Centered around a common 'yard', each Pod would have 2 sub pods providing a home to 8 - 10 residents each and a guardian(s). Communal areas would provide companionship during the evening hours. Each RP would have self sufficient kitchens and laundry services for the residents and their guardians.
- Plan ahead for your pets future here @ Seven Blessings. We are pre-selling single dog and cat 'petpod' to accomodate those pets who need to have their privacy or who are just not the social butterfly that they used to be. This unique (and custom designed with your pet in mind) petpod will cater to you pets every need as they retire here with us. A single (no roomies) petpod will be reserved for your pet when you contribute $5,000.00 toward the construction of a Resident Pod.
